Play Group
Our play group meets once a week
(currently on Friday mornings) and is open to all members and their children. This
event is held in member's homes and rotates on a weekly basis. When the
weather is nice we also meet in parks.
Family Outings
Family outings generally occur on
weekends, so spouses/partners are able to attend as well. Recent events
have included a fire station tour, pumpkin patch, swimming party, and
spring egg hunt.
Weekend Getaway
This is a moms only night away. A
chance to have a break from the kids, enjoy good food and the company of
friends. The getaway traditionally has been in February or March and in
recent years has been a rental house at the Coast. The rental fee is
divided among the individuals attending and everyone brings food to share.
Cookie & Ornament Exchange
We hold our annual cookie and
ornament exchange in early December. Members bring two to three dozen
cookies to share. This is a fun and yummy party. And you have holiday
cookies for all the guests you entertain at this time of year.
Holiday Party
This is a couples only potluck
dinner party that is traditionally held in a member's home. It is
generally scheduled for a weekend evening in early December. It a chance
of members to get to know spouses/partners without the kids around. A fun,
festive event.
